Services and Support to Students
Technology Instruction and Resources: CSU-Pueblo is committed to preparing teachers to use technology effectively. All education classes model state-of-the-art applications of technology and provide technology resources for students to use and implement in their field experiences.
Curriculum Center: We maintain an incredible collection of PK-12 curricular materials for students to use when planning their lessons and instruction including teacher resource books, software, videotapes, and technology resources.
Teacher Education Association: This student organization provides multiple opportunities for future teachers to engage in professional development outside of the classroom, and to collaborate and network with other future teachers and current educators from the region.
State Licensure Exam Workshops: In order to become a licensed teacher, each student must pass a licensure exam in their content area. We offer many workshops each semester to help prepare students for success on the exam.
Placement Services: CSU-Pueblo hosts an Education Job Fair each April where students have the opportunity to interview with schools from across Colorado as well as districts outside the state.
Various CSU-Pueblo Student Support Services: The University has additional services available to students to support them throughout their college journey including academic services such as a Math Learning Center, Writing Lab, and special tutoring in various areas, as well as a Counseling Center, Student Health Center, Career Services and a child daycare center.
