Elementary Education Transfer Guide

Using this Transfer Guide

This transfer guide was designed to empower you with the necessary information concerning the progression of requirements for licensure as well as the selection of courses that can be taken at most Colorado Community Colleges that will directly transfer into the CSU-Pueblo Teacher Education Program.

Important Note: Although there are far more than 60 credit hours available for you to choose from at the Community College level, you can only transfer 60 credits into a 4-year institution from a Community College that will lead towards graduation. Please be aware that not every Community College may offer all of the courses listed in this guide.  Also, the listed courses are sample guidelines.  Teacher Licensure requirements are governed by the laws and regulations of the State of Colorado.  The Teacher Education Program policies are determined by Colorado State University-Pueblo in accordance with state regulations and are subject to change.  Students are highly recommended to discuss course options with their advisor(s) at the Community College level as well as contact the CSU-Pueblo Teacher Education Program Office.
