Extra-Curricular Activities

The Mechcanical Engineering Technology Program sponsors a local student organization which is associated with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Activities include field trips to local companies and industries, opportunities to hear speakers of interest, and various workshops.
MET students participate in student recruitment activities and design competitions, such as the annual CSU-Pueblo MESA Design Contest and the ASME Student Design Contest.

Scholarships

MET students may apply for the many general scholarships which are available to all USC students in any major area of study. President's scholarships are available to entering freshmen, continuing students, and transfer students. Several scholarships specific to engineering technology majors are awarded annually.
