I.  Course Overview

A study of the availability, capabilities, analysis, selection, justification, acquisition, installation and operation of computerized systems designed to enhance facilities management.

 

II.  Course Objectives

After completing the course, students will have a basic understanding of and be able to effectively demonstrate entry level skills in:

A.     Types of CAFM systems available

B.     Matching system capabilities to business needs and gaining support from upper management

C.    Optimizing software and hardware performance

D.    Acquisition and installation strategies

E.    Data initialization and system operation
