insure maximum operational reliability at minimum cost.
PLANNING and PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Executed planning, concept, design, construction and occupancy initiatives for
over $200 million of high tech and conventional facilities.
- Directed architectural/engineering firms in project designs ranging from rest
room renovations to state-of-the-art computer facilities.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
- Developed a Repair, Alteration, Maintenance and Operations Plan (RAMOP) to
proactively program and budget facility requirements.
- Computerized, presented and justified $6-7 million annual operating budgets
flexibly highlighting discretionary and nondiscretionary needs.
INNOVATION and QUALITY ASSESSMENT
- Implemented contracting system that increased project execution by over 70%
while allowing an 11% decrease in the in-house workforce.
- Computerized statistical review and analysis tools that displayed trends,
highlighted bottlenecks and facilitated corrective action.
ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Executed major reorganization that greatly enhanced effectiveness of resource
management, contract execution and PM functions.

- Documented property acquisition and disposal, site development, highest and

facilities programs covering 5 hospitals and 30 clinics serving a 5 county
capitation population of over 450,000. 17 person staff included engineers,
architects, planners and budget specialists.
June 1988 to September 1993
Facility Manager
Distribution Complex; Procurement, Tennessee
- Facility manager for 642 acre depot with over 8 million SF of facilities, 24
miles of roadway and 22 miles of trackage. 140 person staff included engineers,
architects, master planners, drafters, contract specialists, inspectors,
planner-estimators, resource managers, fire protection specialists and a wide
variety of crafts and trades persons.
