"Promoting an alternative and enjoyable means of achieving lifelong physical fitness for all of Colorado"

The race consists of completion of several low ropes challenge course events at CSU-Pueblo, mountain biking through the Pueblo Greenway trail system, run orienteering in the Pueblo City Park, more cycling to the State Park, open water kayaking in the Pueblo Reservoir, and a short run in the State Park.

The terrain covers the full gamut of terrain from hilly to flat and from dirt to grass to pavement.

The ropes course events will be completed first to determine a starting position and then the rest of the events are completed in a continuous race.  This year's ropes course events will be scored based on quality factors rather than timed.
