Outdoor Adventure Education |

This course of study prepares students for careers in national park settings, community parks, and recreation, health clubs, campus and YMCA/YWCA settings or graduate school. Upon completion of the Outdoor Adventure Option students are eligible to sit for the Wilderness Education Association Outdoor Leader Certification. Topics in the courses include tourism, outdoor
education, special populations, community recreation and parks and
wildlife management. Internships have included such sites as Disney World,
Texas Instruments, U.S. Forest Service, State Parks, Japan and Germany. |
