Extra-Curricular Activities
EET students may join the student branch of the Institute of Electrical and Elecetronics Engineers (IEEE). Activities include field trips to local industries, opportunities to hear speakers of interest, and IEEE workshops on topics such as employment, professional registration, etc. EET students have been very successful in winning paper and design contests sponsored by IEEE. Students are welcome to attend local, regional, and national meetings of the Institute.
Scholarships
EET students may apply for the many general scholarships which are available to all USC students in any major area of study. President's scholarships are available to entering freshmen, continuing students, and transfer students. Three scholarships specific to electronics engineering technology are awarded annually.
