Extra-Curricular Activities
Civil Engineering Technology students may join the student branch of the Associated General Contractors (AGC). Activities include field trips to local construction sites, opportunities to hear speakers of interest, and various workshops.
Scholarships/Financial Aid
CET students may apply for the many general scholarships which are available to all USC students in any major area of study. President's scholarships are available to entering freshmen, continuing students, and transfer students. There are also several scholarships available which are specific to the CET major.
- Greg Snyder Memorial Scholarship
The Greg Snyder Memeorial Scholarship has been established to provide a cash award of $1000 for the academica year for a deserving University of Southewrn Colorado student who intends to obtain a degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
- Cal Snyder/Sully Sullivan Scholarship
The Cal Snyder/Sully Sullivan Scholarship has been established to provide a cah award of $500 for the academic year for three deserving University of Southern Colorado students who intend to obtain a degree in Civil Engineering Technology with an emphasis in Construction Management.
- Associated General Contractors Student Members Scholarship
The Associated General Contractors (AGC) Student Members Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance of $200 per semester to the student judged to have made the most significant contribution to the AGC student chapter in the past year.
Application forms and further information on these and other financial assistance, as well as various grants and loans, are available through the CSU-Pueblo Foundation Office.
