There are two (2) separate applications that must be submitted for acceptance into the CSU-Pueblo Graduate Nursing Program. It is essential that each applicant understands that acceptance to the University does not imply acceptance into the Nursing program, nor does acceptance to the Nursing Program imply acceptance to the University. The student must be accepted to both the University and to the Nursing Department independently to be eligible for the Nursing Program. Once both processes are completed the CSU-Pueblo Nursing department will notify the student by postal mail.
Applications are due each year by May 15th. Programs start each fall semester.
Please follow the directions in steps 1 and 2 below:
Step 1:
Complete the University application for acceptance to the University. The University application must be accompanied by official transcripts from all colleges which the student has attended. The student can either apply online or download the University application by using the link below: CSU-Pueblo Admissions Office Website.

If the student is accepted to the University, the student will receive an acceptance letter from the Nursing Department will confirm both the student's eligibility to take courses other than core nursing courses. Step 2:
The Nursing Department application must be accompanied by the students unofficial transcripts (i.e., a copy of all the student's transcripts should be mailed in the same package as the student's Nursing Department application). See the appropriate links below to access more information on the documents required for complete acceptance. Review the Certified Background Student Instructions as appropriate for graduate students and send the completed Nursing Department application and the student's unofficial transcripts to:
