Curriculum Changes, Fall 2006
The fall semester 2006 marks a change in the emphasis areas of the CET program. Freshmen students entering this fall will find a modified curriculum that stresses civil engineering core subjects in these three areas:
- Structural analysis and design,
- water system analysis and design, and
- traffic analysis and control.
In addition to these core subjects required for all students, they can select from a broad offering of elective courses which allows all students to tailor their education to their specific professional goals in areas such as:
- land surveying,
- architectural drafting, or
- construction management.
